Last week we talked something about government agencies, rectors of tourism in Venezuela, yet leaving some others that are determining factors in the management of tourism in our country.

Among the other local resorts in our country, is the the National Institute of Training and Recreation Workers (INCRET): is an in stitution that designs, manages, promotes and implements, in coordination with other agencies and social security authorities, plans and programs for recreation, leisure and tourism office in ensuring the quality of life of the worker.


National Tourism Training Institute (INCATUR): Trains human resources planning and development of the tourism sector.


We also have other entities that, while not govern itself tourism, contribute to the preservation of the environment and related sectors; INPARQUES (National Parks), is a autonomous institute under the Ministry of Popular Power for the Environment, guarantees the preservation of national parks and natural monuments of Venezuela and promote its rational use in research activities, entertainment, education and ecotourism.


The Ministry of Popular Power for Culture that the governing body, on culture, policies emanating from the National Executive to ensure the development and growth of the national heritage.


National Tourism Council (CONATUR): It is a planning body, advice and consultation in synergy with the private sector , which consists of tourism service providers and their associations , the associative forms of promotion and tourism development, cooperatives dedicated to that purpose and also to be created with the same, similar or related purpose, formally registered in the National Tourism Registry, RTN.

Ministry of Environment (MINAMB): This plan and perform the activities of the national executive for the promotion of quality of life of the environment and renewable natural resources. Developing programs for the conservation and use of water, forests, land and soils.


National Hotel Federation of Venezuela (FENAHOVEN): is devoted to study and recommend ways to promote, defend and develop the welfare of the hospitality industry. Has over 40 years of established and was formerly called ANAHOVEN has over 700 member tourist accommodation and 14 Hotel Associations and Regional Chambers.


Airlines Association of Venezuela (ALAVA): is headquartered in Caracas and is a trade organization without profit organization founded in 1959. Now comprises 31 national and international airlines with operations in Venezuela.


Avavit (Venezuelan Association of Travel and Tourism): is a nonprofit association that is responsible for achieving a competitive tourism market adjusted to the national tourism situation improving and planning the business of tourism.














There are many other institutions that direct and indirect influence on our Venezuelan tourism and there are others that are extinct product of decisions made within the current government.


We

eg THE Venezuelan Tourism Corporation, which was suppressed so that the private sector to optimize the operation of the national tourism assets now belong, as government.


Well at least it says Explanatory Memorandum to the Decree Force of Organic Law of Tourism in his third point of the transitional arrangements, sharing the powers above had this corporation, the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism and INATUR.
