TOURISM IN VENEZUELA (PART 3)


Last week we talked some about the history of the evolution of tourism activity in our country to focus more on the legal and decided to do this because the tourist activity in the commercial, geographical and landscape, as it will go tacking that we go deeper into our next chapters.

this law is important to tourism, which devotes a full title to Social Tourism, establishing the role of the Corporation with respect to this type of tourism aimed at lower income sectors of the population. establishes a special regime for indigenous communities, banning authorize any project that disturbs or undermines their habitat.

in 1998, is further amended the Law on Tourism, (TOURISM ACT OF 1998) being published in the Official Gazette No. 36546, dated September 24 that year. This law has the character of "Organic" the importance that tourism has taken our country

most important aspects of this new law are:

states that the Plan provided for in national objectives and goals of the tourism sector, defines tourists as provided in the previous Act, establishes, for the first time, the jurisdiction of the States in tourism, although under the Constitution of 61 this is not possible.
